Morgan Simianer said “Yes” to the love of his life!

The Joy star got married to her husband Stone Burleson in front of 275 guests in Hickory Creek, Texas, on May 28.

“I didn’t believe in love at first sight until I met Stone,” Simianer told PEOPLE exclusively. “Once we met, I thought: “Love is real. Life is beautiful. I’m so happy.”

The couple exchanged their vows at La Olana, a vast mansion built in pay to the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte in Paris.

“It’s like a castle,” Simianer says. “From the moment I saw him, he was engraved in my mind. When you get the butterfly feeling that it’s meant to be. I was like, “Yeah, that’s it.”

The decor of the “timeless” event included lush autumnal white roses and green accents in gilded pots of borrowed flowers. “Just an elegant, clean atmosphere,” she says.

For her walk down the aisle to Christina Perry’s “A Thousand Years”, the bride, who was escorted by her grandfather, wore a long-sleeved lace dress with pearls and beaded details from the Bridal Boutique in Lewisville, TX.

“I walked in and thought, ‘I want to try all the styles,'” she says of her search. “And I ended up choosing something completely different from my vision board. I literally put it on and thought, oh my God, I love this dress.’”

The guests at the wedding, which was planned by Danielle Leilani at Leilani Social, included many familiar faces from Simianer’s time on television.

“I feel like it’s a complete family reunion with all of us,” Simianer said before the nuptials. “There will be people from the Netflix documentary series, the producer of Cheer. People who went on tour with me to applaud live. We have so many people.”

Dinner included a signature salad, filet mignon and chicken with asparagus and roasted potatoes with herbs. For dessert, a white tiered wedding cake with green floral details was served.

For the couple’s Kay Jewelers rings, Burleson chose a Neil Lane diamond bracelet in yellow gold, while Simianer’s is a custom-designed gold and diamond sparkler. The couple also gave gold bracelets for the bridesmaids and Citizen and Bulova watches for the groomsmen.

The couple, who got engaged in March 2022, had their first date two years ago at a taco restaurant.

“He was so outgoing and funny,” Simianer recalled. The couple closed the restaurant and went to the roof of Simianer’s apartment, where they talked until the sun came up.

Since that day, we have been inseparable,” he says. “Every day, except when I go out for work trips or anything else. And I knew the day I met him that he was going to play a very important role in my life. I was praying for him to be my husband and it worked.”

Simianer says there are many qualities to appreciate when it comes to Burleson. “He’s handsome and smart, but it was from his heart that I fell in love,” she says.

“Every person feels special, loved and appreciated. He seems to be fading, but his heart and who he is as a person will never change.”
